# Siteon > Siteon is infrastructure for AI-built websites. Bring the static site (HTML) you built with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or by hand, and one service adds Host (hosting: publish with one command, roll back to the previous version), Edit (CMS: areas your client, the business owner, can edit in the dashboard, with page-view charts), Collect (contact forms: storage, auto-replies, email/Slack notifications) and Delegate (control from AI agents via the CLI, an MCP server and API keys). Integration is one script tag plus HTML attributes; you write no JavaScript on the site. - Script to load: `https://cdn.siteon.dev/sitekit.js` (site ID in `data-site`) - Forms use `
`; input names must match the keys in forms[].fields. The hidden `_hp` anti-bot input is required - Mark editable areas with attributes such as `data-cms="."`. Declare what can be edited in schema.json - If the CMS is unavailable, the static text written in the HTML is shown as is (the site never goes down) - Hosting is included (the Free plan can publish too, with a small "Made with Siteon" badge; paid plans remove the badge and add storage): `siteon deploy ` publishes to `https://.siteun.com/` and embeds CMS values before serving. `siteon rollback` restores the previous version. Custom domains (`domains`) are coming soon - With the CLI (`siteon`), the MCP server and API keys you can create sites, apply the schema, send test submissions, review inquiries and publish. Sign-up, payment, export and account closure are self-serve too (no human paperwork) Every page is available as HTML (https://siteon.dev/docs/) and as Markdown (add .md). The links below point to the Markdown versions. Read only the chapters your job needs (CLI commands and site ID rules in cli-mcp.md, publishing in hosting.md, forms in forms.md). ## Docs - [Getting started](https://siteon.dev/docs/index.md): The four pillars of a foundation that keeps your site running (Host, Edit, Collect, Delegate), and how to get it working in 5 minutes (sign up → add one script line → add attributes → publish → check in the dashboard). - [The script tag](https://siteon.dev/docs/script.md): What one script tag does (traffic-source recording, form submission, GTM) and the list of attributes. - [Editable area markers (CMS)](https://siteon.dev/docs/cms.md): Use data-cms attributes to let the business owner edit text, photos, news lists, article pages, and multiple languages. - [Writing schema.json](https://siteon.dev/docs/schema.md): The file that declares the editable fields (groups / collections) and forms. Lists every type and constraint. - [Forms](https://siteon.dev/docs/forms.md): Forms that only need data-sitekit-form. Messages, notifications, auto-replies, conversion tracking (GA4, Google Ads, Meta), test submissions, and traffic source recording. Coming soon are templates, hosted form pages, conditional fields, duplicate prevention, capacity with a waiting list, stats and CSV. - [Scheduling (coming soon)](https://siteon.dev/docs/scheduling.md): One-to-one scheduling for sales calls, interviews and consultations. Booking pages and embeds, Google Calendar integration (free/busy checks and events), Meet, .ics and cancel links. Where it stops and Gym's begins. - [Webhooks](https://siteon.dev/docs/webhooks.md): Send each inquiry as signed JSON to Zapier, Make, a CRM or your own server (paid plans, 5 per site). Payload, signature verification, idempotency, retries, destination rules and test sends. - [Hosting and delivery](https://siteon.dev/docs/hosting.md): Hosting on every plan (siteon deploy, rollback, subdomains, propagation time, suspension; the Free plan shows a "Made with Siteon" badge), and how to keep your current hosting (Cloudflare Pages relay, data-embed). - [Custom domains and allowed origins](https://siteon.dev/docs/domains.md): The DNS records (CNAME and TXT) for serving your site on your own domain (www.example.com), what to do with the bare domain, and what each status and error means. How to register the domains your forms accept (allowed origins) and how to fix 403 origin_not_allowed. Includes steps for AI agents. - [Public API](https://siteon.dev/docs/api.md): Specs and response examples for the two endpoints you can use without logging in (published content as JSON, and form submissions). - [Plans and limits](https://siteon.dev/docs/plans.md): Pricing and limits per site (publish for free on Free; custom domains and badge removal on paid plans), the domains Free can use, and what happens when you reach a limit or a payment fails. - [Canceling, closing your account and exporting data](https://siteon.dev/docs/account.md): What happens when you cancel a site's plan, close an account or close your login, and how to export articles, inquiries and photos in one go. You can do all of this yourself in the dashboard. - [CLI, MCP and API keys](https://siteon.dev/docs/cli-mcp.md): Ways to operate your sites from the command line or an AI agent. With an API key you can create sites, apply schema, send test notifications, read inquiries, manage webhooks and publish to hosting. - [Common errors and fixes](https://siteon.dev/docs/troubleshooting.md): Look up the cause and fix from a symptom or error code (402, 409, 451, and more). Covers issues hit both by the people building the site and by the owners using the dashboard. ## For AI agents - [Hand off to an AI agent](https://siteon.dev/docs/agents.md): Instructions you can paste straight into Claude Code, Cursor and similar tools, a Claude Code skill (SKILL.md) template, and a short version for CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md. - [Full documentation (single file)](https://siteon.dev/llms-full.txt): All chapters above in one Markdown file. It is large; if your web fetch tool summarizes it, read the per-chapter files instead ## Guides - [How do I add a contact form to a static site built with AI?](https://siteon.dev/guides/add-contact-form-to-static-site.md): Add a working contact form (storage, email and Slack notifications, auto-reply) to an HTML site made with Claude, Cursor, v0 or Bolt, with one script tag and one attribute. - [How do I publish and run a site built with v0, Bolt, Lovable or Cursor without paying much?](https://siteon.dev/guides/publish-ai-built-site.md): Build the site in any AI tool, then publish the static output with one command. Hosting, forms and owner editing come in one plan per site. - [How can a business owner update a static site themselves? (Adding a CMS to a static site)](https://siteon.dev/guides/add-cms-to-static-site.md): Let the owner change opening hours, news and photos from a phone, without rebuilding the site and without letting them break the design. - [How do I receive inquiries from an ad landing page with their source (UTM, gclid)?](https://siteon.dev/guides/ad-landing-page-leads-utm.md): Keep utm_*, gclid and fbclid with every inquiry from a landing page, without hidden fields, and count submissions as GA4, Google Ads and Meta conversions. - [How can a web builder deliver and maintain many client sites from one account?](https://siteon.dev/guides/manage-client-sites.md): For agencies and freelancers. Build each client site for free, put it on a paid plan when it launches, invite the client, and run everything from one account and one bill. ## Comparisons - [Siteon vs. assembling it yourself: Netlify or Vercel + Formspree or Basin + Tina or CloudCannon](https://siteon.dev/compare/diy-stack.md): What it costs to put hosting, a form service and a CMS together separately for one site and for ten client sites, compared with one plan per site. - [Siteon vs. Webflow and Framer](https://siteon.dev/compare/webflow-framer.md): Visual site builders against a backbone for HTML you already have. Prices, limits and which one fits which situation. - [Siteon vs. the hosting in AI site builders (v0, Bolt, Lovable)](https://siteon.dev/compare/ai-builder-hosting.md): Keeping a generated site online with the builder's own plans, compared with building in the tool and running the result on a separate backbone. ## Optional - [Product site](https://siteon.dev/): Pricing and FAQ - [Dashboard](https://app.siteon.dev): Log in
